Fruits of the Spirit Study: Flourishing in Christ

The title "Flourish" comes from Psalm 92:12-13 which says, "The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God." The palm tree lifestyle should describe every follower of Jesus. We weren't made to just survive; we were made to flourish in Christ! In this study, we will dig deep and plant seeds of gospel truth as we study the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Throughout this study, we will continually look to Jesus as the Creator and Sustainer of our life, to the Father as the Gardener of our soul, and to the Holy Spirit as our faithful guide, keeper, and tiller of the soil of our heart.

Start Date - 9/18/19
Facilitator - Leslie Brackett and Nancy Wright
Book Fee - $20

A Woman's Heart, A Beth Moore Study

In the Old Testament the tabernacle was God's dwelling place where God initiated a deeper relationship with His Chosen People. Through this study we will be challenged to prepare our hearts, like the holy of holies, to become a home for His love and glory -- a dwelling place for the Most High God.

Imagine waking up every single day convinced that the twenty-four hours ahead of you are a precious gift to be used wisely. Now imagine that you know exactly how to spend them to be a force for God’s good.
In this study of Luke,we will follow the life and ministry of Jesus as we consider the choices He made on His way to the cross. We’ll intimately connect with a Savior who lived with joy-filled determination in His mission to love the world. In return, we’ll receive a model for intentional living that we can replicate to ensure we are living each day to the fullest and making a difference for God’s kingdom. And together we’ll determine to embrace the abundant life we are promised in Jesus.
